our history
On the 14th of January 1993, as led by the Lord, Pastor Michael E Odiase founded God's Righteousness Bible Church Int'l . This started in his late father (Moses Egharevba Odiase)'s living room at 21 Osadiaye Street, off St Saviour road, Benin City, Nigeria with seven members (six members of the Odiase family and his friend Pastor Mike Aluko). And after the maiden service at late Pa Odiase's residence, the church then relocated temporarily to Ohuoba Primary School, off M/Mohammed Road, Benin City, and was there for some months before finally relocating to 35 Usunobun Street, off Upper Sokponba Road, Benin City, Nigeria.
At 35 Usunobun Street, the Church started with two rooms joined together and gradually grew until more partitions were removed in order to convert the six bedroom accommodation into an open hall. The Church is currently at her permanent site (3 Okungbowa Close. Off Egharevba Road. Beside Sogbeb Filling Station, Benin City. Nigeria). And is now Pastored by Pastor & Mrs Aimuamwosa Ogieva.
In 2012, in Rotherham (UK), the General Overseer (Pastor Michael E Odiase) got a vivid revelation from the Lord. In this vision, he was taken up in the spirit and was shown round a very wide and spacious arena. In this arena were countless number of people of diverse skin colours. Some were naked and in chains, others perambulating aimlessly without direction. Some of those in chains were laughing and unaware of their situations, some weeping and others trying to set themselves free from the chains but all to no avail. He was given a divine mandate/mission to assist in setting them loose and clothing them with the garment of righteousness. He heard clearly, 'I will use you as an instrument to establish my righteousness on the earth. Go raise me a righteous and holy army. I will deliver and establish them by my Spirit. And they shall prosper by my righteousness' and was referred to Isaiah 61.
Then on the 10th of November 2012, GRBC Solution Centre was officially inaugurated in Rotherham (UK) by Pastor Lucky Onaiwu (General Overseer, House of Favour Int'l, London).
